Getting married in Bali is a lifetime experience
One of the most important moments in a couple’s life is their wedding. Getting married in Bali, makes it even more beautiful and romantic. There are so many great places where the ceremony can take place that you won’t know what to pick. You can choose between a picturesque beach or a traditional chapel or a nicely decorated villa garden. One is for sure that you will always remember your wedding with nostalgia

Types of Bali wedding ceremonies
There is more than one type of ceremonies depending on what you want. First of all is the Legal wedding ceremony. This is the only one that is considered legal not only in Bali but outside Indonesia as well. After the ceremony the Government Registry Officials will register and legalize your marriage. Furthermore there is the Religious Ceremony which is based upon the faith of the couple (the couple must be of the same religion). They can be Protestants, Catholic, Buddhist or Hindu. This type is often chosen from married couples who would like to renew their vows, considering the fact that you won’t get a document that legalizes it. At the end there is the Balinese Blessing Wedding which is also not legal by the Government. Balinese Blessing Ceremony is usually chosen by couples that want to experience the Balinese way of getting married and giving each other a form of commitment

Best time to get married in Bali is the dry season (March to September)
If you don’t want the rain to spoil your wedding then you’d better arrange it during the dry season that is from March to September. The average temperature is around 32°C with low humidity and cool evenings. Avoid places on the east coast like Sanur because the winds get strong on that side of the island. As far as the wedding time is concerned, the best time is around 16:00-17:00. In that case you will catch the sunset just when the ceremony is over and will get astonishing photographs with the sunset as a background
