Kintamani volcano & Ubud Monkey Forest

We start this trip in the morning at 09.00am and head to the art villages of Tohpati and Mas where we can see the processing of handmade batik cloth and woodcarving. Then we proceed to Ubud Monkey Forest where about 400 monkeys live freely in a beautiful forest around the village temple.

Afterward we drive up passing rain forest and riceterraces to Kintamani, a village located about 1400 meters above the sea level where we can see the stunning view to Batur volcano and Batur lake. We can have lunch in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the volcano(own account).

The next visit is a tropical farm where they grow coffee ,cocoa ,vanilla, cinnamon, pineapple, ,etc .We can try coffee processed traditionally or other organic drinks while enjoying the beautiful valley.

The last stop is the visit to a traditional Balinese compound where the family live and arrange their houses according to the traditional architectural law. Back to the hotel.

Kintamani volcano area is located on a hill 1,460 meters above sea level, it is cool all the year round and one can feel chilly in the morning and at nigh. Kintamani volcano has a double crater volcano, where volcanoes erupted
three times in past at: 1927 &1929 and as recently as 1947 at the center of a lake formed in a crater that resulted from
a eruption long time ago, with unique shape that look similar to a Korean bowl. Kintamani Tour is an exciting

The Monkey Forest at Ubud, Bali

Ubud Monkey forest is a small nature preserve on the southern outskirts of Ubud in Bali island. Along with its lush surroundings and a beautiful temple are hundreds of monkeys. The Ubud Monkey Forest houses
approx 400 monkeys which are known as long-tailed Macaques. In addition to the monkeys, the forest is home to
three temples, dating from around the 14th century. The largest is the Pura Dalem Agung, located on the
highest point of the Ubud Monkey forest. A path through the trunk of a huge tree leads to the Holy Bathing Temple.
