If you want to have some fun after dark, you won’t be disappointed. Bali offers a vast variety of entertainment. Either you are single or not, there is a place for you to party. The night life in Bali starts late, around midnight. Before that time you will find the clubs rather empty. Everybody is either still sleeping, working late or just chilling out waiting for the time to pass in order to go to the clubs and bars. Kuta is a place that is thriving with young people, locals and tourists, who know how to party. Here you can find all types of entertainment, from famous D.J.’s, live bands and karaoke to fashion shows and sexy dancers. In Bali’s discos you can find ‘kupu kupu malams’, who are girls that are eager to party with you all night.

Sanur and Nusa Dua are places for less excitement
Don’t expect to face wild night life in Sanur or Nusa Dua. The atmosphere in those places is calmer and quieter.
The clubs and bars close earlier than in Kuta around 1:00. Pubs in Sanur and Nusa Dua are perfect for leaning back and enjoying smooth jazz and chill out sounds. In those clubs you can find tourists who are too tired or bored to go to Kuta. Another choice for entertainment is the hotel or resort discos but don’t expect to experience something fancy

Drugs and prostitution are both illegal
Prostitution like many other countries is illegal. However everyone turns a blind eye. You can find many girls in the night clubs that are willing to party with you all night long from 200.000 to 1.500.000 Rp. As long as drugs are concerned don’t even thing about it. You can find of course in the streets by vendors but don’t consider buying, because you will end up either in the hospital or in prison, as all the drugs are mixed with toxic substances and the vendors often collaborate with the police. So have fun and don’t be involved with illegal activities
